About Doug

Doug is an experienced psychologist who brings warmth, honesty, and respect for the unique struggles men face. He has worked across a range of settings, including private practice and community health, and has supported men of all ages through challenges such as depression, anxiety, identity loss, relationship breakdowns, parenting, substance use, burnout, trauma, and major life transitions.

Doug is particularly passionate about helping men who feel stuck, disconnected, or lacking a clear sense of direction. He helps clients build resilience, take meaningful action, and create lives they feel proud of.

Residing in regional Australia, Doug also brings a personal understanding of the additional barriers boys & men in rural and remote areas can face when it comes to seeking support. This lived experience strengthens his commitment to delivering therapy that is practical, approachable, and relevant- no matter where someone is based.

Clients appreciate Doug’s ability to focus on what matter sand create a space where men can be themselves, speak openly, and take realistic steps toward change at their own pace.

Outside the therapy room, Doug enjoys staying active, getting outdoors, and continuing to learn and grow. He brings a grounded, relatable perspective to his work and believes therapy should feel useful, straightforward, and genuinely supportive.

Doug offers appointments exclusively via telehealth, making support accessible for boys & men wherever they are across Australia.
