About Nick M

Nick is a Registered Psychologist based in our Hawthorn clinic. He has previous experience working across both NDIS and private practice settings, supporting clients with a wide range of presentations.

He takes a collaborative, down-to-earth approach to therapy, aiming to create a space where clients feel comfortable being open without feeling judged or “talked down to.” Nick focuses on building genuine rapport early, so the work feels like something you’re doing together.

Nick helps clients better understand the patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and how these may be getting in the way. From there, the focus is on practical, realistic strategies that lead to meaningful and sustainable change.

He supports men experiencing anxiety, depression, low mood, stress, self-criticism, low confidence, emotional regulation difficulties, and has a particular interest in problem screen time & video game use, as well as those wanting to build resilience and improve their day-to-day functioning overall.

Outside of work, Nick has interests in hiking, exploring restaurants, swimming and watching movies.
