Nick is a Registered Psychologist based at our Hawthorn clinic, working with boys and men aged 15+ both in-person and via telehealth. He has experience across private practice and NDIS settings, supporting clients with a broad range of emotional, behavioural, and mental health concerns.
Nick is known for his calm, approachable, and down-to-earth style. He places strong importance on building genuine rapport and creating a space where clients feel comfortable to speak openly, reflect honestly, and work collaboratively toward change. His approach is practical and grounded, while also recognising the deeper emotional and psychological factors that can keep people feeling stuck.
He works with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, anger, addictions, low confidence and self-criticism, as well as difficulties with emotional regulation, motivation, and relationships. Nick supports clients to better understand the patterns underlying their thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, while developing realistic strategies to improve resilience, self-awareness, and day-to-day functioning.
Nick also has a particular interest in supporting clients struggling with addictive or compulsive behaviours, including alcohol and drug use, gambling, problematic gaming, and excessive screen use, particularly where these difficulties are impacting wellbeing, motivation, relationships, or overall functioning.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys hiking, swimming, exploring new restaurants, and watching films.
