Tyler is a warm and compassionate Registered Psychologist with a strong passion for men’s mental health.
Having spent many years working in the school counselling and wellbeing space, Tyler works primarily with adolescents, young adults, and families. He creates inclusive and supportive environments where clients can explore challenges, build insight, and develop confidence in who they are.
Tyler draws on a range of evidence-based therapies to support clients experiencing:
- Stress, anxiety, and phobias
- Depression, anger and grief
- Trauma and trauma-related difficulties
- ADHD and autism support
- Emotional regulation and distress tolerance challenges
- Identity development and self-esteem concerns
- Life transitions and periods of adjustment
Tyler also has strong experience in crisis intervention and risk management, supporting clients to stabilise, build resilience, and reconnect with what matters most during difficult periods. He has worked with adolescents and adults across a broad range of mental health presentations within private practice settings.
With a background as a yoga teacher and fitness trainer, Tyler integrates mind–body awareness where appropriate, offering practical tools to support nervous system regulation and holistic wellbeing.
Tyler is committed to delivering neuroaffirming, culturally informed, trauma-informed, and LGBTQIA+ safe space. He places strong emphasis on genuine therapeutic relationships and works to empower clients to deepen self-awareness, recognise their strengths, and navigate life with greater authenticity and confidence.
Tyler sees clients aged 14+ & is currently available for in-person appointments on Mondays at our Hawthorn clinic. Some after-hours appointments are available.
